Directing for The Playwrights Realm's Writers Block Party Gala
It was such a treat to be back with my “Realm Fam” working on The Realm’s Writers Block Party Gala. I got to write some zany new lyrics for the Season ‘18-’19 version of Music Director/Host-with-the-Most Michael Thurber’s original “Welcome to the Realm”, and loved collaborating with Realm All-Stars Olivia Oguma and Brian Quijada to come up with numbers to get the crowd excited about The Realm’s upcoming season and, of course, about donating to help support that season! (Hint: an original, live-looped jam by Brian and some classic ABBA from Olivia did the trick!)
